    • The present invention relates to a method of manufacturing a positive ion surfactant by reforming natural oil including unsaturated fatty acid through an epoxidation process and manufacturing a positive ion surfactant with improved material properties from the reformed natural oil. Also, as hydrophilicity of fatty acid increases, solubility and dispersibility into water are excellent so that softening is possible at low temperature, and high-concentration softening is possible thanks to the low viscosity of softening material. In particular, for softening of fabric, the present invention can be used as a positive ion surfactant for a fabric conditioner since the water absorption is significantly outstanding compared to the existing positive ion surfactant.
