    • PURPOSE: Provided is a device for producing spherical balls with a screen unit for spherical balls capable of screening balls of uniform diameter, in order to isolate all the balls which are not perfectly spherical. CONSTITUTION: The device comprises unit for feeding, in a fusion vessel(1), material intended to form the balls; a second vessel(4) communicating with the fusion vessel(1) in order to receive the molten material; unit to form a jet through at least one orifice(8), by using the molten material contained in the second vessel; vibrating unit(9,10,11) to transmit vibrations to the orifice(8), in order to transform the jet into droplets; a cooling tower(16), arranged at the outlet of the orifice(8) and filled with an inert gas, so that the droplets(15), falling by gravity, is solidified to form the balls; and unit for receiving balls at the lower end of the cooling tower(16), is characterized by comprising an outlet chamber(20) in the fusion vessel(1), and unit(21,22) for ultrasound stirring of the molten material contained in the outlet chamber before its transferring to the second vessel(4), wherein the inert gas contained in the cooling tower(16) contains a predetermined quantity of oxygen.
