    • PURPOSE: A particle separation device and a separation method of fiber shape particles using the same are provided to extend time for dispersed particles to get influenced by the electric field by reducing moving rate of airsol. CONSTITUTION: A particle separation device comprises an internal electrode(10) and an external electrode(20). The internal electrode has an axially symmetrical disc shape. The external electrode is formed to surround the internal electrode having a predetermined distance from the internal electrode. Upper oil outlets(30) and lower oil outlets(40) are formed at upper and lower parts of the external electrode. Through the upper and the lower oil outlets, aerosol or aerosol and sheath air are inflowed or exhausted between a space between the external electrode and the internal electrode. A distance from the axis of symmetry to the side of the internal electrode is longer than a distance from the axis of symmetry to the end of the upper and the lower outlets.

    • A cylindrical outer electrode (7) capable of collecting particulates is provided with a collecting cell (2) having passed through an inner electrode (6) whose outer surface is covered with a dielectric (5). The collecting cell (2) is disposed inside a cylindrical housing (1). An exhaust gas distributing means (3) is disposed at one end of the housing (1) for introducing exhaust gases (G) into the interior of the outer electrode of each collecting cell (2), and an exhaust gas collecting means (4) is disposed at the other end of the housing so that the means (4) communicates with a gap (14) between the inner surface of the housing and the outer surface of the outer electrode (7) of each collecting cell (2). An electric discharge control unit (15) is connected to the inner and outer electrodes (6, 7). Thus, an exhaust gas purifier, which is high in particulate removal efficiency and easy to maintain, is obtained.

CONSTITUTION: A suction air distributor of electric precipitator comprises a suction-air distribution inducing tool(700) right in front of a pre-filter(300) and exhaust-air distribution inducing tool(750) in the rear side of an after-filter(600). The suction-air distribution inducing tool is composed of supporting rods and perforated plate for suction-air distribution. The supporting rod is placed in an inhalation device(110) right in front of the pre-filter. The exhaust-air distribution inducing tool is assembled in the supporting rod. The exhaust-air distribution inducing tool includes the supporting rods and perforated plate for suction-air distribution. The supporting rod is placed in an air-outlet which is installed right behind the after filter. The exhaust-air distribution inducing tool is assembled in the supporting rod.
