    • PURPOSE: A delay lock loop and an improvement of the same are provided to form an arrangement for selecting one particular code as a basis of despreading. CONSTITUTION: An early and rate data lock loop(100) has a wanted code generator(36) for providing the first code despreading a prompt signal extracted from a data input signal(40) and an absent code generator(110) for providing the second code despreading the early and the rate codes. The despread signals(48',50,52') are transmitted to accumulation units(22,24,26). The energy values for the early and the rate signals are transmitted to energy measurement units(28,30). A comparator(32') compares outputs(60'62') from the energy measurement units(28,30) to provide a timing error signal(64') for controlling an interpolation circuit(38) receiving an input data signal(40).

    • PURPOSE: A radio frequency switch is provided to improve a radio frequency separation between an input unit and an output unit of a switch by constituting a twin of semiconductor diode for a diode. CONSTITUTION: A semiconductor diode(30) is connected between an input unit(26) and an output unit(28) of a switch(20). A digital logic unit(22) consists of the first output unit(Q) for generating the first DC(direct current) voltage(+V), the second output unit(bar Q) for generating a voltage(-V) reverse to the first DC voltage(+V), and a starting input unit. The first output unit(Q) is connected with a cathode of the semiconductor diode(30), and the second output unit(bar Q) is connected with an anode of the semiconductor diode(30). The first voltage(+V) and the reverse voltage(-V) biases the semiconductor diode(30) in reverse direction, when the digital logic unit(22) is in the first state and a control signal received by a starting input unit of the digital logic unit changes. The digital logic unit(22) changes into the second state that the first output unit(Q) generates the reverse voltage(-V) and the second output unit(bar Q) generates the first voltage(+V), biases the semiconductor diode(30) in ordinary direction and connects the input unit(26) of the switch(20) with the output unit(28) of the switch(20).

    • Described herein is an object located system for locating an object (10) which produces identifying signals. The system comprises a plurality of receivers sites (22, 24, 26, 28) arranged in an array (20) for receiving signals from the object (10) and for receiving a common time reference in the form signals received from a global navigation system (50). The array (20) comprises a reference receiver site (22) and three auxiliary receiver sites (24, 26, 28), the auxiliary sites being connected to the reference site by data links (34, 36, 38). Each receiver site (22, 24, 26, 28) receives signals (42, 44, 46, 48) from the object (10) and timing control signals (52, 54, 56, 58) from a global navigation system (50). Each site determines a time difference between the receipt of the object signals and the timing signals, the auxiliary sites (24, 26, 28) providing data signals on data links (34, 36, 38) to the reference site (22) where the location of the object (10) is determined.
