    • A device to separate and recover a converter gas and a method thereof are disclosed. According to an aspect of the present invention, a device to separate and recover a converter gas comprises: a retrieval line retrieving converter gas created from a steel converter; a composition measuring instrument measuring content amount of carbon monoxide out of the converter gas, installed in the retrieval line; a first transfer line split from the retrieval line, transferring the converter gas to a first gas holder when content amount of carbon monoxide measured with the composition measuring instrument is over the pre-established upper limit; a second transfer line split from the retrieval line, transferring the converter gas to a second gas holder when content amount of carbon monoxide measured with the composition measuring instrument is below the pre-established upper limit; a converter gas supply line installed to the second transfer line, injecting ignition gas including hydrogen into the converter gas transferred to the second gas holder along the second transfer line in order to improve the ability to ignite the converter gas; and a direction control valve controlling whether to transfer the converter gas to the first transfer line or to the second transfer line based on the content amount of carbon monoxide measured with the composition measuring instrument.

Exhaust gas contains acid gas and is generated in the main body. The inhalation duct is used for inhaling and transferring the exhaust gas. The reaction tank is filled with slag particles(10) containing calcium oxide. A water supply nozzle supplies water to the reaction tank. The apparatus further comprises: a discharge pipe(150) for discharging the acid gas-removed exhaust gas; and an exhaust gas fan(152) which is coupled at one side of the exhaust pipe.
