    • PURPOSE: A stripper apparatus of a rolling mill is provided to prevent a product from being curved when the product comes out of a rolling roll, to remove foreign substances, and to prevent the cooling water of a rolling roll from splashing to the product. CONSTITUTION: A stripper apparatus of a rolling mill comprises a stripper(2), a rest bar(3), and an insertion unit(4). The stripper is arranged on the rear end of the rolling roll. The rest bar supports a stripper. The insertion unit is inserted in between the stripper and the rest bar for the stripper not to be rubbed against the rest bar. The stripper is formed with a mounting groove(2a) into which the insertion unit is inserted. A shim plate is inserted into the upper part of the insertion unit in the mounting groove. A needle bearing is installed between the insertion unit and the rest bar. The shim plate is inserted into the upper part of the insertion unit on the inside of the mounting groove according to the amount of the deflection of the stripper or the abrasion loss of the insertion unit.
