    • 본 발명은 대형 이형철근 슬리트 방법에 관한 것이다. 본 발명은 압연소재를 가열하여 조압연, 중간압연, 사상압연을 구성하는 다수개의 압연기를 통과시켜 이형철근을 제조하되, 압연소재를 외측면에 비대칭 갭(a,b)을 가지는 요입공간부가 형성되게 마름모 형상으로 압연하는 제 1 압연공정과; 상기 제 1 압연공정 후 상기 압연소재의 요입공간부를 점차적으로 압연하여 압연진행 방향으로 슬리트작업하고 마무리 압연함으로써 압연소재를 두 개의 원 형상으로 반분하는 제 2 압연공정을 수행한다. 본 발명에 의하면 중간압연 공형의 상,하 압연롤(110,130)의 외측면에 비대칭 갭(a,b)을 형성하여 압연소재를 압연하므로 다음 공정인 사상압연(200)으로 압연소재의 치입시 상대적으로 더 요입된 부분이 상, 하 압연롤의 상하방향으로 치입되어 압연소재의 상하로 작용되는 응력이 감소되고 압연기의 압연부하가 감소되어 압연의 안정성이 확보되는 이점이 있다.
