    • PURPOSE: A water jacket for a cylinder head is provided to improve the whole cooling efficiency through lowering the temperature of a combustion chamber of a cylinder head because a flow of cooling water is guided to the combustion chamber through a cut part. CONSTITUTION: A water jacket for a cylinder head(200) is placed inside the cylinder head. A protruded portion having one or more exhaust outlets is placed on one side of the cylinder head. Upper and lower water jackets are formed inside the protruded portion. The upper and lower water jackets transfer the cooling water to the upper and lower part of ventilating passages connected to the exhaust outlet. The upper and lower water jackets comprise one or more cut parts(240). The cut parts guide the flow of the cooling water flowing into the upper and lower water jackets to each combustion chamber.
