CONSTITUTION: A support structure of a transmission shaft for an electric vehicle comprises a motor shaft (10), a pilot bearing (20), and an input shaft (30). The motor shaft is rotated by receiving rotatory power from a motor (M). The pilot bearing is inserted into the end of the motor shaft. The input shaft is rotatably inserted and supported in the pilot bearing. The input shaft is rotated by receiving the rotatory power of the motor through the motor shaft when a clutch (C) is connected and operated.

    • A fixing apparatus for machining a helical gear is provided to achieve improved circularity and concentricity of a workpiece and shorten work time. A fixing apparatus includes a circular flange(55), a datum pin, a clamp ring, and a clamp(75). The circular flange is fixed on a chuck(50) mounted on a work table. The datum pin is arranged in an intermediate hollow portion of the circular flange. The clamp ring has an outer surface tightened onto the inner surface of the datum pin such that a workpiece is set on the outer surface of the clamp ring. The clamp fixes the workpiece by tightening the workpiece on the clamp ring. The clamp moves in a vertical direction through rotation.
