    • PURPOSE: A rack bush of a steering device for a vehicle is provided to be easily inserted into a rack housing by changing the size of a slot portion and to easily insert a rack bar into the rack bush by changing the diameter of the rack bush. CONSTITUTION: A rack bush(10) of a steering device for a vehicle comprises multiple sliding surface portions and wrinkle portions. The sliding surface portions are separated from each other to form slot portions, and the inner sides thereof touch a rack bar(2). The wrinkle portions connect the sliding surface portions to each other and is extended and contracted to change the sizes of the slot portions.

The disclosed clearance compensation device for a steering gear box includes a rack bar which slides to deliver steering wheel power to steering wheels, a rack housing which guides the sliding of the rack bar, and a support yoke in which a cylindrical unit is inserted into the insertion hole of the rack housing and a curvature unit comes in contact with the circumferential surface of the rack bar and is supported. The support yoke has an outer diameter larger than the inner diameter of the insertion hole and has an elastic compression unit which is elastically inserted into the insertion hole.
