    • The present invention relates to a field coil assembly for an electromagnetic clutch, which has a new form with an improved operating speed by allowing a thermal fuse of the field coil assembly to receive friction heat generated by slippage between a pulley and a disk as quickly as possible. The field coil assembly for the electromagnetic clutch comprises the following: a coil body formed with a wound field coil; a field core having an accommodation space for receiving the coil body, wherein the accommodation space filled with an injection-molded resin product to cut off the coil body from external influences; a thermal fuse which has lead wires at both ends connected to the field coil, and at least a part of which is buried in the injection-molded resin product so as to be selectively disconnected depending on a temperature so that power supply to the field coil may be blocked; and a thermal conducting member, a part of which is in contact with the thermal fuse and another part of which is exposed to the outer surface of the injection-molded resin product, thereby conducting heat generated on the surface of the injection-molded resin product to the thermal fuse.

The pair of arm units is extended from the first hook unit. A pair of second hook units are hooked on the second hook protrusion; and the connection between the pair of second units and the second hook protrusion is released when the hub is stuck.

The rotary damping unit forms a cutting groove (421) in the width direction on a part of the spring unit and supplies a damping force in the rotary direction of the disc.

    • The present invention relates to a new type of an electric clutch for compressors which prevents the disturbance of magnetic flux due to clearances, and which reduces the whole weight. The present invention comprises a pulley pivotally installed at the end of a front housing of the compressor and having an insertion groove at the rear side; a disc which is selectively in contact with the front side of the pulley; a disc hub assembly connected to the disc ad having a hub connected to a driving shaft of the compressor; a female coil installed in the insertion groove of the pulley; a field coil assembly which is molded to cover the inside of the insertion groove and the inner rear part of the pulley as having a main molding unit mad of insulating materials; a first bearing installed between the end of the front housing and the inner surface of the pulley to apply current; and a second bearing insulated from the front housing between the main molding unit and the end of the front housing to be provided with power from the outside. The negative pole of the female coil penetrates one side of the main molding unit to apply the current to the pulley. The positive pole of the female coil penetrates the other side of the main molding unit to apply the current to the second bearing.
