    • PURPOSE: A test device of an ATM exchange subscriber control module is provided to test whole path of various subscriber and switch network by being controlled by a call connection control device of the ATM exchange subscriber control module, to be mounted inside an ATM exchange by having the same shape as a board used at the ATM exchange, and to perform various tests by generating and analyzing a test cell through the control of the call connection control device. CONSTITUTION: A central control circuit part(210) generates a data signal line, an address signal line, and a control signal line by having a 32 bit processor, and buffers these signal lines, and supplies these lines to a local bus(235). An address decoding part(220) appoints an address about devices of a test device(200) and registers by combining the address signal and control signals. A memory part(230) stores programs and data. A cell transmission part(240) generates a test cell, and stores the test cell at transmission test cell FIFO parts(243,244) temporarily, and transmits the test cell to a TAXI transmission part(245). A cell receipt part(250) transmits the test cell to a test analysis part(254) or the central control circuit part(210). A TAXI selection part(260) selects serial data as a differential signal outputted by the TAXI transmission part(245) in the time of a loop back test, and selects serial data as a differential signal outputted by a cell multiplexing/demultiplexing device(100) in a normal state. A cell transmission control part(241) reports a current state of the test device(200), and controls a transmission of the control cell and the test cell. A test cell generating part(242) generates the test cell according to the control of the cell transmission control part(241), and transmits the test cell to the transmission test cell FIFO part(244). The transmission test cell FIFO part(243,244) transmit the test cells generated by the test cell generating part(242) and the central control circuit part(210) to the TAXI transmission part(245). The TAXI transmission part(245) converts the test cell into the serial data differential signal, and transmits the serial data differential signal to the cell multiplexing/demultiplexing device(100). The central exchange subsystem(2000) interconnects the local exchange subsystems(1100,1200) and consists of a network synchronous module(2100), a switch network module(2300) and a maintenance control module(2200). The network synchronous module(2100) supplies an inter module timing interface and a central timing signal interface to subscriber switch network modules(1130,1230), the connection switch network module(2300) and the maintenance control module(2200). The connection switch network module(2300) interconnects subscriber switch networks and is connected to the maintenance control module. The maintenance control module(2200) performs a maintenance control function and an operation and management function of an exchange system.

A processing unit of receiving cell(750) outputs to the matching unit of transmitting and receiving cell bus after temporarily storing by analyzing a receiving cell inputted from the processing unit of ATM physical layer. The processing unit of ATM physical layer(720) outputs in parallel into a control unit of receiving cell by processing the cell serially inputted to a processing unit of ADSL. The processing unit of ADSL(710) outputs to an ADSL line by processing a serial data received from the processing unit of ATM physical layer in the ADSL transmission, and outputs to the processing unit of ATM physical layer. A matching unit of transmitting and receiving cell bus(770) is contacted in the processing unit of transmitting cell and the processing unit of receiving cell and forms a loop-back path of the transmitting and receiving cell or matches in the transmitting and receiving cell. A matching unit of control signal bus(760) is matched with both port RAMs through a local bus, receives a clock signal from the control signal bus, and outputs a functional alarming signal and a release alarming signal through the control signal bus.

    • PURPOSE: An ADSL(asymmetric digital subscriber line) subscriber terminal is provided to service multimedia application programs of high speed by directly accessing in the ADSL subscriber terminal of an ATM(asynchronous transfer mode) exchange. CONSTITUTION: An ATM(asynchronous transfer mode) subscriber interface module(100) performs an accessing function of ADSL line by composing of an ATM layer processor(110) to communicate with a switching network, to distribute by mixing and dividing a clock with receiving a synchronous signal, to process an OAM function(operation, administration and maintenance) and to manage a subscriber and an ADSL(asymmetric digital subscriber line) subscriber processor(120) of 16boards to accept four ADSL subscribers for each board. The ATM layer processor(110) sends a starting signal of transmitting cell to inform the start of 16bit data and the transmitting cell into the ADSL subscriber processor(120) through a transmitting/receiving cell bus. When the starting signal of receiving cell to inform the start of receiving 16bit data, the receiving cell and the requesting signal of cell receiving to request the receiving of cell from the ADSL subscriber processor(120), the ATM layer processor sends a permitting signal of cell receiving to permit the receiving of cell to the ADSL subscriber processor(120) requesting the receiving of cell. An ADSL subscriber terminal for an ATM(120) is accessed with an ATM switching board through an ADSK line(200) and offers an ATM data service of high speed by processing a transmitted and received ATM cell.
