A clock generating unit(6) generates a CLK(Clock) signal and an FCLK(Clock Frequency) signal, which indicate a reception start time of an ATM(Asynchronous Transfer Mode) cell signal, and provides the CLK signal and the FCLK signal to the subscriber boards(3A-3N). A cell processing unit(9) temporarily stores data inputted and outputted from the subscriber boards(3A-3N) or an external network(7) in a buffer(8), and transmits the data to a corresponding destination.

An RAU(32) decides an area of a wireless DSL service, and connects with the WTU of the telephone office through an optical cable. Also, the RAU(32) provides wireless connection of a subscriber terminal. And an NIU(33) of a subscriber is located within a service area of the RAU(32) and wirelessly connects with the RAU(32) to provide the subscriber terminal with the wireless DSL service. The RAU(32) decides the coverage of the wireless DSL service, converts optical signals from the WTU(31) into wireless frequency signals for transmission through an antenna, and converts wireless frequency signals received through the antenna into optical signals for delivering the signals to the WTU(31).

A cell bus interfacer(7) interfaces a signal between the controller(2) and a cell bus. A buffer(8) intercepts all components except a necessary component for booting in a development and board debugging, and easily designs and repairs a board. A boot memory(9) and a main memory(10) store data between the controller(2) and the buffer(8). A displayer(11) displays the data by a light emitting diode(LED). A storage pressive(12) stores an upgraded software. An inner board monitor and controller(13) is used for a management operation of the board. An outer device monitor and controller(14) processes/acquires all alarms and a management operating signal, and is connected to a signal bus.

CONSTITUTION: A cell bus interface part(100) carries out the interface operation between an ATM cell bus(2) and a user network interface part(300). A clock generation part(200) converts an E1 clock and a data stream, transmitted from an ATM switching system(1), into a reference clock to supply to the user network interface part(300). The user network interface part(300) converts an ATM cell signal outputted from the cell bus interface part(100) into a transfer speed serial data of any one out of 155Mbps transfer speed, T1 transfer speed, E1 transfer speed and DS3 transfer speed. An ethernet part(400) carries out a function to support a local area network interface by a MPC860 microprocessor of a control part(500). The control part controls the ATM cell signal transfer processing speed between the ATM switching system(1) and the ATM cell bus(2) to be transferred at the MPC860 grade processing speed.
