CONSTITUTION: A top emitting type organic electroluminescence diode display comprises a plurality of lower electrodes spaced apart from each other so as to define pixels(300); an organic light emitting layer formed on the lower electrodes; a transparent cathode electrode(310) arranged on the organic light emitting layer so as to form a light emitting unit; a ground terminal(450) arranged outside the transparent cathode electrode; and a connection wire(410) electrically connected to the ground terminal, and arranged along the edge of the transparent cathode electrode.

    • PURPOSE: An active organic EL device and a method for manufacturing the same are provided to reduce crosstalk between neighboring pixels by forming electrodes for BM at non-emitting region. CONSTITUTION: An active matrix type EL device comprises a substrate(1) having a plurality of pixels; a driving element including a gate electrode, an active layer, a source electrode, and a drain electrode; a first electrode connected to the drain electrode; an insulating layer(3) formed on the non-emitting region of the first electrode; an electrode(4) for BM formed on the insulating layer; a second electrode connected electrically to the electrode for BM; and an organic thin film(5) disposed between the first electrode and the second electrode and emitting light by electric field.

    • PURPOSE: A method for fabricating a display pixel with a two-story capacitor is provided to reduce the area of pixel occupied by a capacitor by using a two-story capacitor instead of a single-story capacitor. CONSTITUTION: An active layer(200) is formed on a substrate. A gate oxide layer(202), a gate layer(204) and a capping layer(206) are sequentially deposited on the active layer. The gate layer and the capping layer are etched to form a gate. A spacer is formed on the side surface of the gate. An ion implantation process is performed on the upper surface of the resultant structure. A conductive layer is deposited on the resultant structure to form the capacitor between the conductive layer and the gate and between the gate and the active layer.
