    • A twisted deflector (22) for enhancing coolant mixing in a nuclear fuel assembly is disclosed. The twisted deflector consists of a plurality of triangular vane supports and multiple pairs of polygonal vanes. The vane supports are respectively and integrally formed along the alternate top edges of interlocked portions (12,14) of each spacer grid for a nuclear fuel assembly. Each pair of polygonal vanes are respectively and integrally formed on the two adjacent inclined top edges of each vane support and are respectively tilted in opposite directions. The inclination angles of the two inclined top edges of the vane support may be respectively and preferably between 20 DEG and 40 DEG . The tilt angles of the tilted vanes may be respectively and preferably between 30 DEG and 50 DEG .

    • PURPOSE: A double plate nozzle-type lattice for supporting a coolant and a fuel assembly in a nuclear reactor is provided to increase a heat transmission from a fuel rod to the coolant by crossing the stream of coolant within the fuel assembly. CONSTITUTION: The double plate nozzle-type lattice for supporting a coolant and a fuel assembly in a nuclear reactor comprises a plurality of lattice plates which are disposed for supporting a fuel rod(25) of a fuel assembly. The lattice plates are disposed in a regular form of lying one lattice plate(15) upon another lattice plate(16) so that a passageway for mixing the coolants is created in the form of it splitting into two pieces or it being united into one. A high temperature of coolant and a low temperature of coolant are mixed in the passageway so that the thermal efficiency increases significantly. The area of outlet is smaller than that of inlet in the passageway for mixing the coolants.

    • The present invention relates to an apparatus for measuring the degree of polymerization of insulating paper and to a method for measuring the degree of polymerization of insulating paper using the same. In a specific embodiment, the apparatus for measuring the degree of polymerization of insulating paper includes: a solvent introduction unit into which a solvent is injected; a sample dissolution unit that allows the solvent to circulate and dissolves insulating paper; and a viscosity measurement unit that measures the viscosity of an insulating paper solution which is discharged from the sample dissolution unit, in which the solvent introduction unit, the sample dissolution unit, and the viscosity measurement unit are connected in sequence through first to third lines, and the sample dissolution unit has a reaction unit where the insulating paper is dissolved; and a mesh unit where the dissolution of the insulating paper can be checked from one or more ends of the reaction unit.
