    • The present invention relates to a method for using mutated strain, in which protein secretion ability is enhanced by damaging novel genes, for producing heterologous recombinant proteins. More specifically, the present invention searches Hansenula polymorpha genome sequencing and obtains HpGAS gene candidate groups which code Gas1 protein having beta-1,3-glucanosyltransglycosylase activities and checks novel genes (HpGAS1) among the same and deletes corresponding genes and verifies the functions so that form of cells can be changed, sensitivity of a cell wall synthesis inhibitor can be increased, total amount of protein secretion can be increased, secretion amount of the recombinant protein can be drastically increased, and HpGAS1 gene deleted yeast can be used as a resource for secretory expression, purification, and harvest of heterologous recombinant proteins.

    • PURPOSE: An artificial biosensor for sensing a non-degradable harmful aromatic compound is provided to sensitively and accurately sense the compound. CONSTITUTION: A method for manufacturing an artificial biosensor for sensing a non-degradable harmful aromatic compound comprises: a step of preparing an expression vector containing promoters of Pseudomonas putida-derived todS gene, todT gene, and todX gene, and a marker gene; and a step of transforming the expression vector to a host cell and preparing a transformant. A method for detecting the non-degradable harmful aromatic compound comprises: a step of treating a sample with the biosensor and culturing; a step of measuring expression level of the marker gene of the biosensor; and a step of determining which the sample contains the non-degradable harmful aromatic compound when the expression level of the marker gene is increased over a control group.
