    • PURPOSE: A manufacturing method of porous polymer block is provided to manufacture the block having improved water permeability and strength by binding polyester resin to the mixture consisting of recycled aggregate, sand, and a filling. CONSTITUTION: A manufacturing method of porous polymer block is as follows. A compound is manufactured by dry mixing 69-72 weight% of recycled concrete aggregate as a big aggregate, 12-13 weight% of sand as a small aggregate, fly ash as a filling, and 7-9 weight% of blast furnace slag or calcium carbonate. The mixture is mixed with 6-9 weight% of ortho type unsaturated polyester resin which is a binding material. The mixture is coated with the binding material. Molded articles are obtained by vibrating compaction of the mixture coated with the binding material in the forming mold. The molded articles are cured. The block has the porosity of 9-22%, the intensity of 19-25 MPa, and the rainfall infiltration rate of 14.5 mm/hr.     • PURPOSE: A polymer concrete which uses oyster shell powder as a filler is provided to utilize processed oyster shell powder as polymer concrete filler, thereby increasing use amount of the oyster shell powder without degradation of strength and product quality of polymer concrete. CONSTITUTION: A polymer concrete which uses oyster shell powder as a filler comprises 9-15 wt% of binding material, 35-40 wt% of coarse aggregate, 38-45 wt% of fine aggregate, 9.5-10.5 wt% of the oyster shell powder. The polymer concrete additionally includes 0.09-0.15 wt% of hardener. The binding material is an ortho-type unsaturated-polyester resin. The particle size of the oyster shell powder is 0.15mm or less.

    • PURPOSE: A producing method of a vegetation block using porous polymer concrete is provided to offer the excellent freeze-thaw durability, abrasion resistance, and drug resistance of the porous polymer concrete to the vegetation block. CONSTITUTION: A producing method of a vegetation block using porous polymer concrete comprises the following steps: mixing aggregate and a filler, and homogenizing; inserting a binding material into the mixture for coating the aggregate; inserting the aggregate into a mold, and pounding the aggregate using the vibration; and separating the pounded material from the mold before curing to obtain a curing porous polymer concrete layer; filling culture soil in pores formed on the porous polymer concrete layer using a vibrator; and spreading the culture soil on the upper side of the porous polymer concrete layer for preventing the loss of seeds.
