    • PURPOSE: A transmission is provided to simply supply an operation and control system by determining various torque ratios through the selection of the number of tooth of a gear. CONSTITUTION: An input unit(12) is pivotally supported in a transmission housing. An output unit(14) is pivotally supported in the transmission housing. A first gear set includes a first gear engaged with a second gear and a third gear engaged with the second gear. The second gear set includes the first gear engaged with the second and third gears. A third gear set includes the first gear engaged with the second gear and the third gear. A fourth gear set includes the first gear engaged with the second gear. A fifth gear set includes the first gear engaged with the second gear. The third to fifth gear sets are pivotally fixed to rotate with a first mutual connection unit. The first and second gear sets are pivotally fixed to rotate with a second mutual connection member. First and second counter shafts(22,24) are separated from the first and second mutual connection units in parallel. A dual clutch assembly(32) selectively combines the input unit with the first or second mutual connection unit. A synchronizer assembly(150,152,154,156) selectively combines gear of the first to fifth gear sets with the first mutual connection unit, the second mutual connection unit, the first counter shaft, or the second counter shaft.
