    • The present invention relates to a large capacity preheating furnace that provides high temperature scraps to an electric furnace and a scrap preheating method. The preheating furnace includes: a scrap supply part disposed on the top of a preheating part; the preheating part on which scraps supplied from the scrap supply part are accumulated and preheated by means of flue gas introduced from a connection part connected to a melting furnace; and a pusher disposed on the bottom of the preheating part to provide the preheated scraps to the connection part connected to the melting furnace, wherein the preheating part has a preheating passage integrally connected to the melting furnace.

    • The present invention relates to a molten metal discharging apparatus which can discharge the molten metal and stops discharging the molten metal in an easy manner. The molten metal discharging apparatus includes: a drawing pipe which is formed on a side of a metallurgy container, includes a drawing entrance part arranged to face a lower side of the metallurgy container, and includes a drawing outlet located higher than the drawing entrance; and a tapping pipe which includes a tapping entrance part, attached on a side of the metallurgy container to be connected with the drawing pipe, and a tapping outlet located lower than the tapping entrance and the drawing entrance. The tapping pipe and the drawing pipe are connected in a bent shape. A gas supply part is connected to the connecting part of the tapping pipe and drawing pipe, through which inert gas is injected to stop tapping.
