    • An inspection apparatus for LCDs(Liquid Crystal Displays) is provided to conveniently perform replacement work for polarizing films by installing rollers to shift more than two connected polarizing films. An inspection apparatus for LCDs comprises a support frame(100), a plurality of polarizing films(101,102), a polarizing film replacement unit, and a light source(105). A substrate is mounted on the support frame. The polarizing film replacement unit changes polarizing films according to inspection types so that one of them can face the substrate. The light source supplies light to the substrate through the polarizing films. Both ends of each of the polarizing films are linked to the other through connection units(103). The polarizing film replacement unit is composed of more than one roller(104).

    • A substrate cassette having an arched structure underneath cross bars for supporting the front face of a rack bar is provided to disperse or decentralize load on the substrates, and to improve bending of the substrates. A substrate cassette(300) comprises an outline frame(310) in a form of a rectangular hexahedral box composed of extrusion-molded bars, and a rear frame(311) formed in a vertical direction to immobilize substrates that are inserted by a robot hand. Also, plural rack bars(313) are provided to the rear frame at regular intervals, such that a robot hand inserts a substrate(317) into space(319) between the rack bars. Further, cross bars(315) are fixed at the outline frames on both sides, so as to support the front face in an upward direction. The central area of the cross bar has an arched structure in order to disperse load, or compressive force, on the central area to both sides.
