    • PURPOSE: A method for manufacturing a phospholipid-based biosurfactant is provided to ensure high water solubility, biodegradation, and low irritation, and to use the biosurfactant for hair care, cosmetic products, and fabric softeners. CONSTITUTION: A method for manufacturing a phospholipid-based biosurfactant comprises; a step of reacting phosphate compounds of chemical formula 2 with oxirane compounds of chemical formula 3 to prepare bis(3-halo-2-hydroxypropyl)phosphate compounds of chemical formula 4; and a step of binding the compounds of chemical formula 4 with an amidepropylamine compound of chemical formula 5. The steps are performed at 40-150 deg. C, using water, alcohols, or glycols. The compound of chemical formula 5 is prepared by condensing fatty acid compounds of chemical formula 6 with diamine compounds of chemical formula 7. The biosurfactant is used for hair care, cosmetics, medicines, fabric softeners, and cleansing agents.

    • PURPOSE: A method for improving sorbitan fatty acid ester is provided to obtain the ester with low coloration degree without activated charcoal adsorption or bleaching. CONSTITUTION: A method for preparing sorbitan fatty acid ester comprises a reacting sorbitol with fatty acid containing iso fatty acid under the presence of a catalyst system of reducible phosphorus oxygen acid and alkali metal salt. A method for preparing the sorbitan fatty acid ester comprises: a step of reacting 30-40 wt% of sorbitol and 60-70 wt% of fatty acid containing iso fatty acid at 80°C-150°C; a step of removing water from a reactant at 10-250 mmHg of vacuum condition; a step of heating the reactant at 170°C-240°C; a step of cooling the reactant at 60°C-100°C and adding phosphoric acid to precipitate alkali metal salt catalyst; and a step of removing the precipitate.
