    • PURPOSE: An aircraft with a hovering function, a method of assisting the operation of an aircraft, and an interface are provided to enable a control unit to generate an alarm signal when at least on of first points is placed within a safe area comprising a second point on an aircraft by obtaining the distance values between the first points on an obstacle in a planar sweep area and the second point on the aircraft. CONSTITUTION: An aircraft with a hovering function comprises a body, a rotor(3), a driving shaft, at least one sensor(10), and a control unit. The rotor is mounted on the top of the body. The driving shaft is protruded from the body and drives the rotor. The sensor comprises a planar sweep area(R). While the aircraft flies, the sensor obtains each distance value between first values(P) on an obstacle(O) in the planar sweep area and a second point(Q) on the aircraft(1). When at least on of the first points is placed in a safe area(Z) comprising the second point on the aircraft, the control unit generates an alarm signal.
