    • PURPOSE: Is provided a water repellent glass coated with an agitated silica solution without a haze or a rainbow phenomenon. The solution thereof is obtained by mixing silica solution into the solution of acetic acid and alcohol as an essential step. CONSTITUTION: The fabrication method of a water repellent glass contains; obtaining an agitated silica solution by mixing 10-90 wt% of silica solution which has a hydrolysis of tetraethoxysilane(Si2(C2H5O)4) via ammonia water of pH 9-13 at 30°C for 24hrs., followed by acidifying of pH 1-3 with hydrochloride and agitating at 5°C for 1hr. with a mixed solution of 10-90 wt% acetic acid and alcohol; coating a cleaned glass with the solution thereof by a spray method; heat treatment in at 300°C for 30 min. after drying.

    • PURPOSE: A stain-proofing coating composition is provided to have a good coating property for glass, resin, ceramic and metal materials and hence large thickness of the coating, which causes no degradation of the coating product under heat treatment at a high temperature and effectively prevents a stain on the surface of a substrate. CONSTITUTION: The coating composition comprises boron and sodium carbonate at a molar ratio of 1:0.01 to 1:2, the total content of the boron and sodium carbonate being 1 to 10 wt.% based on the total weight of the aqueous solution. The glass product contains a coating comprising the stain-proofing coating composition. The coating has a thickness of 500 to 2,000 angstroms.

    • PURPOSE: Provided is a water soluble coating composition comprising salts, surfactant, sugar alcohol which has pollution prevention, good coating for glass, ceramic and metal materials and easy cleaning. CONSTITUTION: The coating composition comprises the components of: 0.01-1wt.% of water soluble salt such as carbonate, nitrate, sulfate, phosphate, silicate, etc., and preferably Na2B4O7; 0.0001-1wt.% of anionic or non-ionic surfactant such as sodium alkyl sulfonate, sodium polyacrylic acid, polyethylene glycol, etc.; 0.01-5wt.% of sugar alcohols such as sorbitol, xylitol and mannitol; and aqueous medium. The coating film is formed on the substrate in a thickness of 600-5000angstrom by conventional methods such as dip coating, spray coating, and flow coating.
