A light source body has an inner space into which discharge gas is injected. A discharge voltage is applied to the discharge gas through an electrode(150). A first reflectance-reducing material layer(210) is formed on an outer surface of the light source body. The first reflectance-reducing material layer is a coating layer of SiO2, Y2O3, In2O3, SnO2, or ZnO. The light source body includes a first substrate and a second substrate facing each other. The inner space is disposed between the first substrate and the second substrate. The inner space is divided into a plurality of discharge spaces by a partition wall(121). The partition wall is integrated into at least one of the first substrate and the second substrate.
