    • PURPOSE: A memory system, a memory test system, and a testing method thereof are provided to maintain the quality of a clock signal by optically splitting the clock signal. CONSTITUTION: A memory test system comprises a system memory(MEM1,MEM2), a tester(120), and an optical splitting module(140). The tester generates a clock signal and a test signal for testing the memory. The optical splitting module includes an electro-optic signal converter(142), an optical signal splitter(144), and an optic-electro signal converter(146). The electro-optic signal converter outputs an optical clock signal and an optical test signal by converting the clock signal and the test signal into an optical signal. The optical signal splitter splits the optical test signal and the optical test signal into n signals. The optic-electric signal converter converts the split optical clock signal and test signal into the electric signal used in the memory.

    • An HAMR(Heat-Assisted Magnetic Recording) head gimbal assembly is provided to install a light source module in a position separated from a slider of a suspension to minimize the loss of light transmission between a laser module and an HAMR head. A light source module(110) includes an LD(Laser Diode)(111) for generating and emitting a beam. An HAMR head(120) includes a magnetic recording head and a light transmission module. The magnetic recording head includes a recording pole for supplying a magnetic recording field to a magnetic recording medium and a return pole for magnetically connecting to the recording pole and forming a magnetic path. The light transmission module, located at one side of the magnetic recording head, transmits a beam inputted to the light source module(110). The HAMR head(120) is formed in a front end part of a head slider(130). A suspension(150) is combined to an end part of an actuator arm, and the head slider(130) is installed at an end side of the suspension(150). The suspension(150) has a cave part(140) in which the light source module(110) is safely received in a position separated from the head slider(130). The cave part(140) is formed at the same surface side as a surface where the head slider(130) of the suspension(150) is installed so that the light source module(110) and the head slider(130) are located at the same surface side of the suspension(150).
