    • An apparatus and a method for amplifying power by controlling delay in a wireless communication system are provided to increase the accuracy of time arrangement and prevent the distortion of the spectrum performance of a final RF signal. A signal converter split a baseband signal into an envelop signal and a phase modulation signal. By using the extraction of a correlation coefficient and an interpolation method, a delay difference measurement unit(110) measures the delay difference among signal paths. According to the measured delay difference, delay controllers(104,105) set up the delay for a signal path of which delay is small as clock period unit. In addition, the delay controllers set up the delay for a signal path of which delay is large as the rest delay difference.

    • An apparatus and a method for envelope a tracking power amplifier in a wireless communication system are provided to increase the accuracy of time arrangement by accurately measuring the time delay difference among paths independently. When measuring the time delay of an envelop signal path, a baseband signal controller(102) outputs an envelop signal to the envelop signal path. The baseband signal controller outputs a signal of which envelop size is uniform to the baseband signal path. When measuring the time delay of the baseband signal path, the baseband signal controller outputs a signal of which envelop size is uniform to the envelop signal path. The baseband signal controller outputs a baseband signal to the baseband signal path. A time delay difference measurement unit(109) calculates the correlation coefficient as to the envelop signal path and the baseband signal path. Therefore, the time delay of each path is measure. By using the time delay difference, a signal time controller(105) sets up time delay at a correspondent path.

    • An RF(Radio Frequency) front-end state confirming device in a wireless communication system and a method therefor are provided to monitor an operated state of an RF front-end by using gain changes of a receiving device, thereby supporting stable operation of the wireless communication system as avoiding performance deterioration of the receiving device. A thermal noise calculator(401) calculates size of a thermal noise signal down-modulated into a baseband from a passing band and a suppressing band in a section where a receiving signal does not exist in a receiving device. If the receiving signal exists, a receiving state confirmer(403) calculates power density of the thermal noise signal by using the thermal noise signal in the passing band and the suppressing band received from a modem, and confirms an operated state of an RF front-end by comparing the power density of the thermal noise signal in the passing band and in the suppressing band.
