    • PURPOSE: A dielectric waveguide antenna is provided to reduce reflection generated from an opening portion by matching impedance between air and a dielectric guide antenna through various shaped matching portions. CONSTITUTION: A dielectric waveguide(20) transmits an applied signal from a power supply portion. The dielectric waveguide comprises a first conductor board(21), a second conductor board(23), and a first metal via hole(25). A dielectric waveguide radiation portion(30) radiates a signal transmitted from the dielectric waveguide through a first opening portion to the air. A matching portion(40) is formed in a part of the dielectric waveguide in order to reduce reflection generated from the first opening portion. The matching portion performs impedance matching between the air and the dielectric waveguide radiation portion.

    • PURPOSE: A terahertz band phase changing device using signal leakage and a beam-forming system using the same are provided to change a phase of a signal by using a signal leakage phenomenon of an MOSFET(Metal Oxide Semiconductor Field Effect Transistor) element generated in a high frequency band. CONSTITUTION: A beam-forming system(100) includes a distributor unit(110), a phase changing device(120), and an antenna unit(130). The distributor unit distributes an input signal having a frequency of a terahertz band inputted from a predetermined signal source through a divider. The phase changing device changes a phase of the distributed signal passing through an MOSFET element by using the MOSFET element operating in a signal leakage state in the frequency band. The antenna unit forms a beam pattern in a predetermined direction.     • PURPOSE: A reflective phase shifter using a reflective load of a switch-line shape is provided to obtain a 360-degree phase change by forming the reflective load of the phase shifter to be a switch-line-shape using a CMOS(complementary metal-oxide semiconductor) switch. CONSTITUTION: A reflective load comprises three delay elements(311,312,313) which are serially connected and three CMOS switches(321,322,323) which are connected to a just before node of each delay element. Two CMOS switches are connected between delay elements which are serially connected. One CMOS switch is connected to an input terminal which is connected with a hybrid coupler. The delay elements are formed into a microstrip line. Each delay element represents the resistance of 50 ohm and the phase delay of 45 degrees.
