    • PURPOSE: A terahertz band phase changing device using signal leakage and a beam-forming system using the same are provided to change a phase of a signal by using a signal leakage phenomenon of an MOSFET(Metal Oxide Semiconductor Field Effect Transistor) element generated in a high frequency band. CONSTITUTION: A beam-forming system(100) includes a distributor unit(110), a phase changing device(120), and an antenna unit(130). The distributor unit distributes an input signal having a frequency of a terahertz band inputted from a predetermined signal source through a divider. The phase changing device changes a phase of the distributed signal passing through an MOSFET element by using the MOSFET element operating in a signal leakage state in the frequency band. The antenna unit forms a beam pattern in a predetermined direction.     • PURPOSE: A dielectric waveguide antenna is provided to reduce reflection generated from an opening portion by matching impedance between air and a dielectric guide antenna through various shaped matching portions. CONSTITUTION: A dielectric waveguide(20) transmits an applied signal from a power supply portion. The dielectric waveguide comprises a first conductor board(21), a second conductor board(23), and a first metal via hole(25). A dielectric waveguide radiation portion(30) radiates a signal transmitted from the dielectric waveguide through a first opening portion to the air. A matching portion(40) is formed in a part of the dielectric waveguide in order to reduce reflection generated from the first opening portion. The matching portion performs impedance matching between the air and the dielectric waveguide radiation portion.

    • PURPOSE: A phase shifter using an amplifier as a switch is provided to operate a switch function in a high frequency region without a high loss by maintaining a difference between isolation rates in a on state and a off state. CONSTITUTION: A plurality of conductive lines(111,112,113) has a different electrical length. A plurality of input amplifiers(121,122,123) are one by one connected between one side of each conductive line and an input terminal(101). Each input amplifier switches the corresponding conductive line to the input terminal by a DC power supply. The gains of input amplifiers are respectively differently formed. The input amplifier comprises the CMOS FET. The CMOS FET comprises the common source CMOS FET.

    • The present invention relates to a dielectric resonator array antenna. The dielectric resonator array antenna includes one or more series power feeding array elements which are embedded to be arranged on a multi-layered substrate in parallel. The dielectric resonator array antenna controls so that a first high frequency signal having identical or different phase or time delay to each series power feeding array element. Therefore, the dielectric resonator array antenna controls the beam forming of a two-dimensional beam by individually or integrally combining each one-dimensional beam radiated. The series power feeding array element connects multiple dielectric resonator array antennas in series. Therefore, power feeding is simply executed in series through the coupling generated by a distance between power feeding lines of a corresponding power feeding unit of the multiple dielectric resonator array antennas. The present invention has a broadband characteristic using the multiple dielectric resonator array antennas and has a high efficiency characteristic by increasing an antenna gain according to the number of dielectric resonator array antennas. Therefore, the entire antenna performance is improved.
