A method for preparing a coating gum comprises the following steps of: laminating a plurality of gums having different colors from each other and squeezing the multi-laminated gums to make a predetermined shape(110,120); coating the predetermined-shaped gum with a sweetener, which has high transparency in re-crystallization(160); and giving a gloss to the coated gum(190). The sweetener contains xylitol. The sweetener allows the various colors of the laminated gums to be seen through the coating layer. The sweetener additionally contains a perfume, a sour taste agent and a thickening agent such as arabic gum, gelatin and starch.
