    • A fermented spirulina extract is provided to show excellent skin physiological activity, anti-oxidative effect, skin anti-aging and skin inflammation alleviating effect, thereby being widely applied as a raw material of an anti-aging functional cosmetic product, a functional food composition or a pharmaceutical composition. A fermented spirulina extract is characterized in that it is prepared by fermenting an extract of spirulina with Bacillus subtilis(TP6) strain isolated from soybean paste. A method for preparing the fermented spirulina extract comprises the steps of: (a) homogenizing a dried material of spirulina cells, lysing the spirulina cells and then adding hot water at a temperature of 50-100 deg.C thereto to prepare the spirulina extract; and (b) fermenting the spirulina extract with the Bacillus subtilis(TP6) strain at a temperature of 25-35 deg.C for 18-30 hours. Further, the homogenizing step is performed by mixing the dried material of spirulina cells with distilled water and stirring the mixed material at 400 to 600 rpm for 10 to 30 minutes.
