    • PURPOSE: A method of forming corrosion protection coating on prestressed concrete strand by forming double corrosion protection coating on a core wire and side wires and performing a blasting process after formation of plating coating is provided to achieve improved adhesion of resin coating to plating coating and corrosion protection performance of resin coating. CONSTITUTION: A method comprises a step of forming a plating coating(12) on the outer surface of an element wire(11); a step of wire drawing the element wire where the plating coating is formed; a step of forming a prestressed concrete strand constituted by core wire and side wires, by twisting and combining element wires; a step of temporarily unwinding the prestressed concrete strand, and performing a blasting process on the core and side wires; a step of forming resin coating on the outer surfaces of the blasted core and side wires; and a step of cooling the resin coating, and re-twisting and combining the prestressed concrete strand.

    • PURPOSE: To improve performance by coupling a PC steel product with a sleeve insertion hole via inserts. CONSTITUTION: A sleeve 2 is crimped to a PC steel stranded wire 4 by a cold drawing die 3 to form a crimp grip 1. A plurality of wedge-shaped inserts 6 are inserted into the insertion hole 5 of the sleeve 2, and serrated protruded stripes 7 formed in the inner and outer faces bite into the outer periphery of the stranded wire 4 and the inner face of the hole 5 so that the stranded wire 4 is not released from the sleeve 2. The inserts 6 are provided with tapers 8 on the inside of their tip sections so that the stranded wire 4 is easily inserted into the hole 5. Outer peripheries of the core wire 9 and side wires 10 of the stranded wire 4 are covered with a synthetic resin film 11 to prevent the rupture of the wires 9, 10 caused by frictional heat, and a buffer material made of a synthetic resin is provided between the inserts 6 and the stranded wire 4 to doubly protect the stranded wire 4 covered with the film 11, or the hole 5 is formed with a small-diameter section on the inlet side and a large-diameter section on the outlet side, and the stranded wire 4 is crimped by the inserts 6 at the large-diameter section, thereby the tensile fatigue strength can be improved.
