    • A manufacturing method of crosslinked starch is provided to improve effects which sterilize microorganisms, inactivate enzyme, prevent from the variation or loss of natural incense, flavor and nutritional component. A method for manufacturing crosslinked starch comprises: a step of adding distilled water to the starch flour to manufacture starch suspension; a step of adding cross linking agent to starch suspension; a step of pressing with ultra high pressure to the starch suspension for 5 to 20 minutes; and a step of washing and drying with the ultra high pressure treated starch suspension to obtain crosslinked starch. At the step of manufacturing the starch suspension, starch content to the total starch suspension content is 0.05 to 40% by weight. The next step of manufacturing the starch suspension comprises a step of adding swelling inhibitor into the manufactured starch suspension. The swelling inhibitor is sodium sulfate. The crosslinking agent is selected among a group which consists of phosphorusoxychloride, epichlorohydrin, and sodium trimetaphosphate.

    • A method for preparing acetylated starch using acetic anhydride and ultra high pressure is provided to simplify a preparation process, prevent damage or change of nutrient components, taste and flavor and ensure microorganism disinfection effects and enzyme inactivation effects. A method for preparing acetylated starch comprises the following steps of: adding distilled water to starch in order to obtain starch suspension; adding acetic anhydride to the starch suspension; applying ultra high pressure to the starch suspension with added acetic anhydride for 5-20 minutes; and washing and drying the starch suspension to obtain acetylated starch. In the step of preparing the starch suspension, the contents of the starch are 0.05-40wt% on a total weight of the starch suspension.

    • A method for preparing hydroxypropylated starch is provided to secure convenient process, fast reaction time and low manufacturing costs and to maintain a microorganism disinfection effect, enzyme inactivation effect, and the natural taste and nutrient of raw materials. A method for preparing hydroxypropylated starch by using ultra high pressure comprises a step for manufacturing the starch suspension by adding distilled water in starch; a step for adding propylene oxide in the starch suspension; a step for applying ultra high pressure more than 100 MPa to the starch suspension added with the propylene oxide; and a step for obtaining the hydrosypropylated starch by washing and drying the ultra high pressure-applied starch suspension. In a step for manufacturing the starch suspension, the content of the starch is 0.05-40 weight% based on the total weight of the starch suspension.
