摘要： PURPOSE: Provided is a ceramic paste suitable for forming a thin ceramic green layer with a high pattern accuracy. CONSTITUTION: In the ceramic paste containing a ceramic powder, an organic solvent and an organic binder, as the binder, a mixture of a polyvinylbutyral and a cellulose ester, a mixture of a polyacrylic ester or the like and a cellulose ester, a mixture of the polyvinylbutyral and a polyvinyl acetate or a mixture of the polyvinylbutyral and a polyacrylic ester or the like, or a copolymer containing an acrylate(methacrylate) alkyl ester as a main component is used. This ceramic paste is advantageously used to form the ceramic green layer(5) for absorbing a step on a main surface of ceramic green sheet(2) so as to substantially eliminate the step by the thickness of an internal electrode(1), for example, in a laminated ceramic capacitor.

CONSTITUTION: A ceramic paste, containing ceramic powder and organic binder for forming a step-part absorbing ceramic green sheet layer 5, is turned into higher viscosity coefficient by adding a bodying agent. As the bodying agent, plastic beads, which are powdered by chilled crushing, with an average grain size of 0.01 to 3 μm and have a crosslinking structure.

摘要： A process for producing a monolithic ceramic electronic component, which includes: providing a ceramic slurry, a conductive paste, and a ceramic paste; forming a plurality of composite structures each comprising a ceramic green sheet produced by shaping the ceramic slurry, internal circuit element films formed by applying the conductive paste partially onto a main surface of the ceramic green sheet so as to provide step-like sections, and a ceramic green layer which compensates for spaces defined by the step-like sections, the ceramic green layer being formed by applying the ceramic paste onto the region on the main surface of the sheet on which the element films are not formed, so as to substantially compensate for the spaces; forming a green laminate by laminating the composite structures; and firing the green laminate, wherein the ceramic paste contains ceramic powder, an organic solvent, and an organic binder. A monolithic ceramic electronic component produced through the process; a ceramic paste; and a production process for the ceramic paste are also disclosed.
