    • PURPOSE: A side bearing of a bolster for a bogie of a railroad vehicle is provided to improve the damping efficiency of the vibration in the vertical direction of a car body and reduce yawing by separately forming elastic blocks and mounting an abrasion cap on the blocks. CONSTITUTION: A side bearing of a bolster includes a housing(22) integrally formed with first and second grooves(24,25) by an intermediate wall(26), a roller(30) secured in the first groove, two elastic blocks(24,26) disposed in the second groove facing each other, and an abrasion cap(50) laid on the top surfaces of the elastic blocks, wherein a space(27) is formed below the first groove, and the second groove is formed with the bottom lower at the center than the other part so that convex portions are symmetrically formed.
