A support pipe(56) is extended into an upper housing, and an upper part(50) of a piston(48) is inserted to a lower part of the support pipe. An annular protrusion(54) is formed in a lower part of the upper part and supported in the lower part of the support pipe to restrict upward movement of the piston. A valve assembly(42) is operated in an upper part of the upper housing, and the piston is moved downward in sensing abnormal temperature of coolant. An operation rod(58) is extended to the lower part of the support pipe, and applied to the upper part of the piston. An operation unit(52) is composed of an electrothermal operation unit operated by electric heat, a booster operation unit operated by hydraulic pressure or pneumatic pressure, or a solenoid operation unit.

CONSTITUTION: A thermostat valve comprises a valve housing(110), an opening and closing member(120), a temperature sensing and operating unit(130), and a spring(140). One end of the valve housing is closed. An opened inlet port(111) is formed in the opposite end of the valve housing. The first and second outlets of the valve housing are formed on the circumference in a longitudinal direction. The opening and closing member advances and retreats within the valve housing in order to selectively open and close the first and second outlets. The temperature sensing and operating unit has a body part and a piston shaft. The spring is supported in a spring support member in order to press the opening and closing member. One end of the spring support member is supported in the opening and closing member, and the other end is installed in the inlet port of the valve housing.

    • A hot water distributor for a heating system is provided to joint distribution pipes to a plurality of inlet pipe sections and outlet pipe sections in a one-touch manner. An inlet pipe and an outlet pipe are tightened between support boards. The outlet pipe has a top on which a plurality of valve assemblies(54) are mounted, and a bottom to which a connection pipe(38) having a flange(36) is connected. A socket(46) is joined to a lower portion of the connection pipe such that a distribution pipe(42) is connected to the socket pipe. The socket has a flange(50) of the same size as the flange of the connection pipe. The outlet pipe is constituted by a plurality of outlet pipe sections(20a) equipped with valve assemblies. Each outlet pipe section has one side with an insertion pipe portion(76) and the other side with an insertion port(78) for fitting of the insertion pipe portion. The insertion pipe portion of one outlet pipe section is fitted into the insertion port of the other outlet pipe section and tightened by a joint rod penetrated through a hole formed at an edge of the outlet pipe section when adjacent outlet pipe sections are joined with each other. The socket has a connection portion(48) which is fitted through the lower portion of the connection pipe such that the flange of the connection pipe and the flange of the socket are arranged adjacent to each other. Subsequently, the flanges are tightened together by a C-shaped clip(52), and the socket is connected to the connection pipe. The clip has two elastic bands with slots for partial insertion of the flanges.

    • A hot water distributor for a heating system is provided to carry out heating operation by forcibly opening a flow channel even in case of blackout by manually operating an indicator of a valve assembly. A hot water distributor includes an inlet pipe and an outlet pipe. A plurality of valve rod guide pipes(22) are integrally formed on the outlet pipe, and a valve hole(26) is formed in a lower portion of the outlet pipe. The valve hole has a valve seat(24). A valve rod(30) is extended from the valve rod guide pipe, and a valve shell(32) is fastened on the lower portion of the outlet pipe. A valve assembly(54) including a joint pipe(56) and a casing(58) is arranged on the outlet pipe. A valve rod(30) extended upwardly from the valve rod guide pipe has a top with a cup(60). A thermally operating unit(62), which is operating through the control of a room thermostat, is disposed on the cup. A piston(64) extended downwardly from the thermally operating unit is arranged to work on the top of the valve rod. The cup has both sides from which L-shaped indicators(68) are extended. Each indicator has an end extended outwardly through a vertical guide port formed at both sides of the joint pipe. Each vertical guide port has a lower end with a horizontal guide port. The end of the indicator extended outwardly from the vertical guide port is drawn downwardly and rotated toward the horizontal guide port such that the valve shell is compulsorily opened, when power is shut off.
