    • PURPOSE: A current leakage detection device is provided to normally perform current leakage determination even when the applied voltage of a coupling condenser is increased to improve detection precision. CONSTITUTION: A current leakage detection device(100) is equipped with a boost circuit(3) for applying a boosted pulse voltage to a coupling condenser(C). A reference voltage generating circuit(4) generates a reference voltage based on the output voltage of the boost circuit, and converts the reference voltage to a pulse voltage through switching by a switching element(Q). The coupling condenser is charged with pulses outputted from the switching element. An offset voltage generating circuit(7) generates an offset voltage lower than the pulse voltage based on the output voltage of the boost circuit. An operation circuit(8) outputs a voltage remaining after subtracting the offset voltage from the voltage of the coupling condenser.     • PURPOSE: A leakage detecting apparatus is provided to rapidly detect leakage of DC power and to shorten an interval of pulse when the voltage of a coupling condenser is lower than a second threshold. CONSTITUTION: A pulse generator(2) supplies a pulse to a coupling condenser(C1). A voltage detector(6) detects voltage of the coupling condenser. A leakage determining unit(7) compares the detection voltage of the voltage detector with a first threshold. The leakage determining unit determines the leakage of DC power(B) based on a comparison result. A discharge determining unit(8) compares the detection voltage of the voltage detector with a second threshold which is lower than the first threshold. The discharge determining unit determines whether the detection voltage is lower than the second threshold by the discharge of the coupling condenser or not. The pulse generator increases a new pulse when it is adjudged that the detection voltage was lower than the second threshold.
