CONSTITUTION: An RF(Radio Frequency) coupler(312) suitable for use in a multi-band wireless communication unit has a terminator(316) and couplers(314,315). The couplers(314,315) have passing path coupling elements(318,320) and coupling path coupling elements(319,321). The passing path coupling elements(318,320) transmit RF signals transmitted by respective frequency bands TX band 1, TX band 2 in which the unit is in operation. The coupling path coupling elements(319,321) couple the RF signals transmitted by the respective passing path coupling elements(318,320). The coupling path coupling elements(319,321) and the terminator(316) are coupled in series thereby making compatible with an RF power detector(313) using a single detection diode(322).

The digital-analog converter(32) converts the operation output of the neural operational chip(31) into digital data and provides the data to the high power amplifier(2). The neural operational chip(31) and the digital-analog converter(32) forms a main board(30). The output setup device(21) and the display(22) forms a front panel(20).

    • PURPOSE: An apparatus for compensating distorted signals is provided to make two signals attenuated or output to maintain regular phase differences by comparing the two signals, so as to reduce parts for being controlled by a high power amplifier to decrease loss through a time delay element. CONSTITUTION: The first and the second input signals inputted in a high power amplifier are inputted to two-way splitters(301,302), to separate two signals whose size is reduced in half and whose phases are agreed. Each size of the signals is output as a direct current(DC) type, when one of the separated signals passes through signal detectors(303,304). The signal is inputted to a differential amplifier(305) to be amplified as differences of two signal components. The firstly-output signal is inputted to a controller to control a signal attenuator. The bigger signal differences of the two signals are generated, the higher attenuations are performed. If the secondly-inputted signal is bigger than the firstly-inputted signal, the signal attenuator is set up to a direction having a bigger attenuation, to regularly control strength differences of the two signals. If the secondly-inputted signal is smaller than the firstly-inputted signal, the signal attenuator operates to a direction having a smaller attenuation. The signals separated in the two-way splitters(301,302) are inputted to a 90-degree 3dB hybrid(306), and synthesized to each other.

The wireless data receiver(32) receives the RF and infrared signal from the fixed system. The controller(36) modulates the RF and infrared signal to recover a corresponding voice signal. The voice output device(38) generates a voice via a speaker or an earphone. The portable module(30) can include a receiving level display to let a visitor know a distance from a current position to a position of the fixed system.
