CONSTITUTION: An RF signal processing unit comprises a signal input booster(100) and a connection part(200). The signal input booster comprises a plurality of capacitors(C6,C105,C7,C8,C66,C106), a plurality of resistors(R3,R4,R5,R7,R9,R8,R10,R95), inductors(L4,L5), diodes(D5,D4), and a MOS transistor(TR1). The connection part comprises a balun(BL) circuit connecting the output of the signal input booster and the input terminal of a master tuner and the input terminal of the slave tuner.

    • PURPOSE: A tuner input circuit is provided to improve standing wave ratio by maintain the balance of impedance. CONSTITUTION: A first switch(SW1) comprises a first common contact point connected to a first input node which receives a first signal, a first junction, and a first off connected. The first switch selects connection of the first common contact point to the first hot junction or the first common contact point to the first off contact. The second switch(SW2) comprises a second common contact point connected to the second input shift which receives the second signal and a second hot junction connected to the tuner input terminal. The second switch selects connection between the second common contact point and the second hot junction or separation. The impedance matching unit(100) is connected between the first off and the ground.

    • PURPOSE: An electrostatic discharge protection circuit is provided to bypass a strong signal or static discharge to a ground unit by forming an electrostatic discharge protection circuit between the other side of a coil connected to an antenna and a ground unit. CONSTITUTION: A filter unit(11) is formed in an antenna side of a tuner(10). An electrostatic discharge protection circuit(20) is arranged between the filter and the ground unit. The filter unit is comprised of a citizen band trap including a coil and capacitors removing a citizen band of a high frequency inputted through the antenna. The filter unit blocks the unnecessary signal for receiving the wanted signal. A booster(12) is arranged in the following stage of the filter unit. The booster is comprised of the coil, the capacitors and a transistor amplifying the high frequency signal. A balun(13) is comprised of the capacitors, the coil, and registers matching the amplified signal from the booster in parallel.

The collector terminal of the transistor is connected to the second input terminal of the IF saw filter. The switch signal is connected to the base terminal of the transistor. The emitter terminal of the transistor is grounded. The bias voltage is connected to the second input terminal of the IF saw filter through the resistance.
