    • PURPOSE: A wire winch and an autonomous mobile device with the same are provided to precisely control the length of wire by maintaining the wire length wound or unwound from the wire drum per one rotation. CONSTITUTION: A wire winch comprises a supporting frame(12), a stator axis(14), a rotor, a wire drum(22), and a guide unit(26). The both ends of the stator axis are fixed to a supporting frame. The length of rotor is smaller than the stator axis. The rotor rotates corresponding to the stator axis. A first screw part(20) of the wire drum is formed on the outer circumference of a flange(18). The rotor is inserted in the wire drum to transfer the wire drum according to the rotation of rotor along the stator axis. The guide unit is combined in both ends of the supporting frame in parallel to the stator axis. A second screw part(24) of the guide unit is meshed with the first screw part of the wire drum.

CONSTITUTION: A winch(110) comprises a driving motor(10), a drum driving shaft(20), a wire drum(30), a roller driving shaft(40), a roller(50) and a clutch(60). The drum driving shaft revolves by the driving motor. The wire drum revolves by the drum driving shaft. The roller driving shaft is parallelly arranged to the drum driving shaft. The roller driving shaft revolves by the driving motor in a different direction from the drum driving shaft. The roller is connected to the roller driving shaft. The roller supports a wire, which is wound on or released from the wire drum. The clutch is installed on the roller driving shaft so the driving force transferred to the roller is blocked by the roller driving shaft when the wire drum revolves in a direction of winding the wire.
