    • PURPOSE: A motor drive control device and a wire open checking method thereof check whether or not a wire is opened by comparing a pulse signal of a specific frequency with a low side switching signal and a detection signal of a hall sensor. CONSTITUTION: A motor drive control device includes a motor driving part (13), a current sensor (14), an inverting amplifier (15), a capacitor (16), a comparator (17), and a control part (12). The motor driving part drives a motor by receiving driving power. The current sensor detects the current of the driving power supplied to the motor driving part. The inverting amplifier reverses a detection signal of the current sensor. The capacitor removes a DC voltage component from an output signal of the inverting amplifier. The comparator outputs a pulse signal of a specific frequency by comparing the output signal of the capacitor and a predetermined reference voltage. The control part generates a PWM control signal, transmits the PWM control signal to the motor driving part, and checks whether or not a wire is open by comparing a frequency of a switching signal.
