    • A navigation system is provided to align an antenna in an inner portion of a cabinet by allowing the antenna to be integrated with the navigation system. A navigation system integrated with an antenna includes a cabinet(2). The cabinet(2) includes a metal and electro-plated case(3) and a cover(4). The entire shape of the cabinet(2) is practically a rectangle shape or a square type. The case(3) has an upper-opened box shape. The height of the cabinet(2) is little lower than the height of a deutsche industry-Norm slot so that the cabinet(2) is suitable for the DIN slot. The cover(4) includes a recess(5) for maintaining an antenna element(10) in a predetermined area. An antenna element installation part(9) is formed by means of ribs(7,8) on the upper surface part(6a) of the recess(5).

    • PURPOSE: To reduce signal loss by facilitating the installation and relocation of an AIS transponder. CONSTITUTION: A plurality of members including a radio section and its antenna, a positioning section and its antenna, and a control section and a power supply section related to them out of members for composing the AIS transponder are incorporated into a single enclosure and are installed in the open air. A unit 40 installed in the open air is connected to an AIS display 20 of an interface means to a ship crew by a transmission line in a ship such as a cable. A signal that is transmitted by the transmission line in a ship is not the radio reception output itself of a VHF antenna, but is a signal that is subjected to processing such as amplification, thus preventing a signal loss in the transmission line in a ship from occurring easily.
