    • PURPOSE: A method and an apparatus for processing code modulated signals are provided to alleviate the complexity of a calculating process by reducing a time-to-first-fix. CONSTITUTION: A code generator(3) generates a prompt code(31). The prompt code is supplied to an adder(4). A delaying part(30) and a delaying line obtain the prompt code. Based on the prompt code, the delaying part and the delaying line generate an early version code(32) and a late version code(33). The early version code corresponds to the prompt code.
