    • PURPOSE: A measuring method for delay time between robot motion and welding current for arc sensing is provided to minimize measurement error and to cope with noise generating at welding. CONSTITUTION: A weaving index deciphers whether it is 0 or not. An initial reference point after starting weaving is set. When weaving welding starts at weaving index 0 of a start point, It is identified whether the next weaving index is even number or not. The weaving welding is continued until for the weaving index is even number. DAQ (Data Acquisition) of the welding current begins for even weaving index. A noise of the welding current is filtered on the DAQ. The inflection change point of the welding current is calculated in the secondary curve (c). The time difference between inflection points is calculated to obtain a time delay(a,b).

    • PURPOSE: A welding monitoring system and method are provided to estimate the record of performance of workers by measuring the operating hours and current consumption of a welding machine according to welding process. CONSTITUTION: A welding monitoring system comprises a welding machine(1), a current sensor(2), a welding information database(4), a data analyzing unit(3), and a display unit(5). The current sensor senses the operating hours and welding current of the welding machine. The welding information database stores the operating hours and welding current of the welding machine according to welding process for each worker and the set charge consumption information of the welding machine to welding process. The data analyzing unit recognizes the charge consumption for the operating hours using the detected operating hours and welding current of the welding machine and compares the recognized charge consumption with the set charge consumption to determine the worker reaches the goal of the corresponding welding process. The display unit outputs the success or failure of the worker determined by the data analyzing unit.

    • An engine drive type welding machine which authentically performs the idle stop and reboot of the engine is provided. An engine drive type welding machine comprises an engine stop signal formation circuit(IT) forming the stop signal which stops the operation of the engine if the time of the idle state exceeds the due time; a DC power supply connected to the output terminal of the welding machine; a voltage detection system(VS) detecting the voltage change of the output terminal; a reboot detection circuit(RS) forming the reboot signal for making a re-start the engine when showing the predetermined change mode in which the detection voltage detected by the voltage detection system starts the welding work; and an engine control circuit(EC) stopping the engine according to the stop signal, and makes a re-start the engine according to the reboot signal.
