    • PURPOSE: A system for activating a post processing device of a lean burn engine using a high temperature gas generator is provided to prevent load from being generated on an engine by using high temperature gas oxidized partially. CONSTITUTION: A system for activating a post processing device of a lean burn engine using a high temperature gas generator comprises a temperature sensor(15), a heat exchanger(4), and a control valve. The temperature sensor measures the temperature of the exhaust gas exhausted from a lean burn engine(1). The heat exchanger uses hot gas as a heating source. The heat exchanger increases the temperature of the exhaust gas or the catalytic temperature of a post processing device(3). The heat exchanger activates the catalyst of the post processing device. The control valve controls the supply direction of the hot gas which is partially oxidized. The temperature sensor and the control valve are connected to an ECU(7).

    • PURPOSE: An EGR leakage diagnosis method using a commutation signal is provided to judge the leakage of the EGR valve according to the electric current apply between a valve housing and a valve and to supply data which is very useful for minutely controlling an EGR valve. CONSTITUTION: The leakage of an EGR(Exhaust Gas Recirculation) valve is judged according to the electric current apply between a valve housing(20) and an actuating rod(10). The actuating rod, a valve and the valve housing constitute a machinery exhaust gas recirculation valve. The actuating rod flows in the axial direction. The valve is connected to an end of the actuating rod, and opens and closes a valve seat. The actuating rod is installed in the valve housing. A first connection line(31a) and a second connection line(31b) are connected to the actuating rod and the valve housing and ends thereof are drawn to outside. A power supply unit(30) is connected to the first and second connection lines. A signal is detected by a signal detecting unit(32) electrically connected to a power supply unit.

    • PURPOSE: A control method for hot starting improvement of a LPLI system is provided to increase the pressure, when the temperature of a fuel line by mounting a valve at an backend of a pressure regulator. CONSTITUTION: A control method for hot starting improvement of a LPLI system comprises a fuel bombe(10), a fuel pump(20), an injector(60), a supply line(30), a return line(40) and a pressure regulator(50). The fuel bombe stores the liquid LPG fuel. The fuel pump is installed inside the fuel bombe. The LPG fuel is changed into the high pressured liquid and is transferred to outside. The injector is installed in an intake manifold(71) of an engine(70) in order to emit the LPG fuel. The supply line and the return line are combined in both end of the fuel pump and injector. The LPG fuel is provided through the supply line to the injector. The LPG fuel is collected through the return line to the fuel bombe. The pressure regulator is installed in the supply line and the return line. The pressure regulator controls the pressure of the fuel from the fuel pump to be higher than 5bar in comparison with the fuel bombe. A valve(80) is installed in the return line located between the fuel bombe and the pressure regulator.

A bushing for preventing icing from occurring in a vehicle employing a liquid phase LPG injection system comprises a fuel nozzle tip(20) and a busing(10) made of metal. The fuel nozzle tip includes one end portion coupled to an injector and an opposite end portion inserted into an intake port(31) of an engine head(30) to inject the fuel. The busing is tightly fitted to an outer peripheral edge of the other end portion of the fuel nozzle tip to obtain an air-tightness between the bushing and the outer peripheral edge. The busing prevents the fuel supply from being blocked by an icing formed at the circumference of the fuel nozzle tip. The icing is generated when the remaining fuel of a liquid phase is vaporized by absorbing ambient heat.
