    • PURPOSE: A mounting structure of a cam cap is provided to reduce the number of components, to simplify a cam cap combining process, and to reduce the size of the cam cap by removing the combination of a knock bushing. CONSTITUTION: In a mounting structure of a cam cap(30), semi-circular bearing units(21) are formed at the cam cap and a cylinder head(20) to support a journal unit of a cam shaft. A combining bolt(40) fixes between the bearing units. A bushing unit(42) is formed in the middle of the combining bolt of a range at which a bolt hole(23) of the cylinder head and a mounting hole(32) of the cam cap are adjacent to each other. The diameter of the bushing unit functioning as a bushing is larger than a screw unit(41). Bushing holes(24,34) in which the bushing unit of the combining bolt is positioned are formed in a range between the upper part of the bolt hole and the lower part of the mounting hole to receive the bushing unit.

    • PURPOSE: A cylinder head cover gasket is provided to improve the close contact of a gasket without any sealing element. CONSTITUTION: A cylinder head cover gasket includes a gasket main body(44), and a stopper(42). The gasket main body is formed of a flexible material to be deformed as an external load is transmitted, wherein the gasket main body has a space part inside. The stopper is formed of a material harder than the gasket main body and incorporated in the space part of the gasket main body. A band-shaped flange part(44a) is formed to a central rim part of an outer peripheral surface of the gasket main body, wherein the shape of the flange part is deformed as a load is applied to the rim part. A band-shaped seat part(42a) is formed to a central rim part of an outer periphery of the stopper for restraining the self-deformation of the stopper in case of load transmission.

    • PURPOSE: A cylinder head cover of a vehicle engine is provided to make the mounting of a camshaft simple by excluding a process for making an identification mark in each bearing cap and reducing the processes for connecting or disconnecting bolts. CONSTITUTION: In a cylinder head cover(70), a bearing cap upper space(73) and a bearing cap(74) are formed integrally. The bearing cap is formed in the position the same as that of an existing bearing cap. The inner bore of the bearing cap is precisely processed after being mounted in a cylinder head. Thereafter, a camshaft is mounted. Since assembling is completed upon covering the cylinder head cover and connecting a bolt, the work for mounting the camshaft becomes simple.
