CONSTITUTION: A door latch device for a vehicle comprises a release lever(200), an open lever(400), a rotary lever(500), and an opening lever(600). The release lever comprises a hanging unit(260) and is installed in a base(100) by a hinge pin(220). The opening lever is installed in the hinge pin in order to be rotated with the release lever so that a door is locked. The rotary lever is installed by a medium of a rotary shaft(520) in the lower part of the release lever and rotates by the operation of wire(W). The operation lever comprises a hanging protrusion(680) located between the hanging unit and the rotary lever. The hanging unit is rotated due to pressurization of the hanging protrusion so that the door is unlocked when the rotary lever rotates. The crash lock allows the movement of the door handle when the coupling unit is at the normal position. The crash lock disables the movement of the door handle and the coupling unit in accidents.

The latch cover(14) is provided with a rotation prevention protrusion(141) toward the outer panel. The rotation prevention protrusion(141) is positioned on top of the first lock lever(132). The rotation prevention protrusion(141) prevents the rotation of the upper direction of the first lock lever(132) by protruding the top portion of the first lock lever(132) during the side collision of the automobile.
