    • PURPOSE: An apparatus and a method for ultrafast DNA sequencing using graphene nanoribbons are provided to quickly and accurately analyze the DNA sequence. CONSTITUTION: An apparatus for DNA sequencing using graphene nanoribbons comprises: a substrate with a nanogroove; the graphene nanoribbon placed on the substrate; electrodes for applying current, which are connected to both ends of the graphene nanoribbon; and an electrode for applying gate voltage. A method for sequencing using the apparatus comprises: a step of applying bias voltage between both electrodes of the graphene nanoribbons and applying alternating current gate voltage to a gate voltage; a step of towing DNA to be analyzed; a step of detecting current in real-time; and a step of analyzing relation between the current of the graphene nanoribbon and gate voltage.

    • 본 발명은 그래핀으로부터 잘라낸 나노크기 너비의 리본을 이용한 스핀밸브 소자의 디자인 및 제작 방법에 대한 것이다. 즉, 본 발명에서는 기존의 전자빔-리소그래피를 이용하여 탄소만으로 이루어진 단층의 2차원 구조를 가지는 그래핀을 특정한 방향으로 잘라내거나 화학적인 방법을 통해 나노크기의 너비를 가지는 리본 형태의 나노리본으로 제작할 수 있다. 이때 나노리본의 모서리를 따라 전자의 스핀이 정렬되면서 강자성을 띄는데, 여기에 강자성체인 Fe, Co, Ni 등을 전극으로 이용하여 나노리본 양 끝 쪽에 연결하여 스핀밸브 소자를 제작한다. 이렇게 만들어진 스핀밸브는 나노리본의 독특한 대칭성으로 인하여 지금까지 보고되어 온 것보다 수 천에서 수 만 배에 이르는 자기저항을 보인다. 이에 따라 본 발명에서는 종래 보다 월등히 뛰어난 성능을 보여주는 스핀밸브를 통해 비휘발성 메모리 소자의 개발, 양자 컴퓨터, 자기센서 등 스핀밸브를 핵심소자로 하는 다양한 분야에서 새로운 연구가능성을 제공할 것으로 예상된다.

    • An apparatus and a method for generating auxiliary information of a traveling vehicle for a driver is provided to easily recognize environment about a front road and surrounding vehicles of the traveling vehicle by recognition of lanes and detection of vehicles, thereby preventing accidents. An apparatus for generating auxiliary information of a traveling vehicle for a driver includes an image receiving part(202), an ultrasonic wave signal receiving part(204), a lane recognizing part(210), a vehicle recognizing part(230), and an environment reconfiguring part(220). The image receiving part is installed at front and rear sides to photograph front/rear areas. The ultrasonic wave signal receiving part outputs distance information on the basis of the time an ultrasonic wave signal is reflected from other vehicles. The lane recognizing part synthesizes recognition results of front and rear lanes and reconfigures the result into road identification image after judging whether the detected lane is a solid line or a dotted line. The vehicle recognizing part sets a road area as an area of interest by using the recognized result of the lane and detects the vehicle by using the image and the ultrasonic wave signal. The environment reconfiguring part produces driver auxiliary information on the traveling vehicle by reconfiguring the vehicle detected by the vehicle recognizing part in the road identification image reconfigured by the lane recognizing part.

    • An apparatus and a method for detecting a vehicle are provided to detect vehicles in a close range efficiently by installing a camera and an ultrasonic sensor. A method for detecting a vehicle comprises the steps of: filming vehicles on a road with a camera, and calculating distance to the vehicles with an ultrasonic sensor; determining whether the calculated distance information is within detectable distance of the ultrasonic sensor and dis-filming distance; calculating a vehicle area in the filmed image, if the condition is satisfied; changing distance information to location on the image; determined whether a difference value of the calculated vehicle area and the changed location on the image is less than a predetermined value; calculating the vehicle area which is less than the predetermined value.
