    • PURPOSE: A method and apparatus for manufacturing molten metal using magnetite is provided to manufacture molten metal by melting hematite after oxidizing magnetite. CONSTITUTION: A method and apparatus for manufacturing molten metal using magnetite comprises a step of changing to the hematite(S20). The hematite is restored and fused(S30). After restoring the hematite and changing to the reduced iron, the step restoring the hematite and fuses the reduced iron. A step of restoring and melting the hematite performs changing into the reduced iron. The hematite is restored and fused at the same time in the step of restoring and melting the hematite. The combustion gas is offered before the step of changing to hematite.

CONSTITUTION: The apparatus for recycling self-generated sludge in an iron ingot manufacturing facility using non-coking coal and fine iron ore comprises a dryer(101) sludge that is discharged from a dehydrator(100) and solidified; a pulverizer(102) pulverizing the dried sludge discharged from the drier(101) into a powder shape having grain size of 1 mm or less; a classifier(103) classifying the pulverized sludge powder into a certain grain size; an upper storage hopper(104) in which sludge powder is stored, into which nitrogen gas is supplied through a nitrogen supply pipe(205) so that an inner atmosphere of the upper storage hopper(104) is maintained to the inert state, and on an exhaust port of which a dust collector(105) is mounted; a lower storage hopper(108) which is connected to the lower part of the upper storage hopper(104) by means of a flexible pipe(106) and a cutout valve(107) and equipped with upper and lower level switches(111,112) detecting high and low levels of sludge powder supplied through the cutout valve(107), and on which a weight measuring instrument(109) continuously measuring weight variation of the injected sludge powder is mounted; a rotation discharger which is installed at the lower part of a discharging port of the lower storage hopper(108) to control a discharge amount of the sludge powder as controlling the number of revolutions according to signals of the weight measuring instrument(109); and a blowing pipe(24) supplying the sludge powder discharged from the rotation discharger to a third ore pipe(203) using nitrogen gas.

    • PURPOSE: A tar removing device for a burner is provided to prevent the shutdown or the delay of an operation caused by the trouble of a burner by automatically removing tar after sensing tar condensation in an ignition device. CONSTITUTION: A tar removing device(20) is placed in each burner supplying thermal source to compensate the temperature of reducing gas. The burners are installed in a first, a second and a third gas supply line supplying reducing gas to a preheating furnace, a preliminary reduction furnace and a final reduction furnace. Then, the tar removing device easily removes tar from the burners with high temperature steam. The tar removing device consists of a resistance sensor(9), a signal generator(10) and a steam blowing pipe(19). The resistance sensor senses a resistance between both ends of an ignition electrode(8) and the signal generator generates an operating signal based on the sensed resistance. The steam blowing pipe is extended into a main burner(5) with a solenoid valve(18) opened by the operating signal.

CONSTITUTION: In an ingot iron manufacturing system comprising fluidization reduction furnaces(10,20,30), a melter-gasifier, a water collector, and a process water treater(70) to manufacture ingot iron using semi-soft coking coal and iron ore fines, the byproduct sludge recycling apparatus of the ingot iron manufacturing system comprises a sludge powder production unit(120) which is connected to the process water treater(70) to produce sludge powder by dehydrating, drying and crushing byproduct sludge discharged from the process water treater(70); a sludge powder storage unit which is connected to the sludge powder production unit(120) to store the sludge powder produced in the sludge powder production unit(120); a sludge powder supply unit for supplying the sludge powder discharged from the sludge powder storage unit to a distributor(210a) through a pneumatic carrier tube(200a); and a sludge powder injection pipe(300) which is connected to have a plural flows of sludge powder between the distributor(210a) and the final reduction furnace(30) so that the sludge powder injection pipe(300) reinjects the sludge powder into the final reduction furnace(30).
