    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a shift drum device capable of preventing the fall of a shift fork without increasing the number of parts.SOLUTION: The shift fork 42 includes a cylindrical part 44 directly fitted to a shift drum 41, and a fork part 45 extending from the cylindrical part 44. The cylindrical part 44 is provided with a protrusion 46 axially extended to reduce the inclination of the cylindrical part. The fall angle of the shift fork 42 is in inverse proportion to the axial length of the cylindrical part 44. When the protrusion 46 with an axial length L2 is extended from the cylindrical part 44 with a characteristic length L1, the fall angle of the shift fork 42 is L1/(L1+L2) times, and improvement by several tens of % can be expected, that is, since the cylindrical part 44 is provided with the protrusion 46, the fall of the shift fork 42 can be reduced with this protrusion 46, thereby providing the shift drum device 40 capable of preventing the fall of the shift fork 42 without increasing the number of parts.
