摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To measure a CQ at a proper timing and transmit information thereof to a base station arbitrarily.SOLUTION: In a method and system of measuring CQ (channel quality) for downlink resource allocation in a wireless digital communication system that can employ a CDMA technique, a UE (user equipment) 12 measures an RSCP (Received Signal Code Power) continuously based on communications on a reference channel provided by a network. The UE 12 measures a time slot ISCP (Interference Signal Code Power) continuously by a configuration or rotation, and notifies of a downlink CQ. The UE 12 may notify of the RSCP once and the ISCP every for a time slot, or alternatively may notify some functions of an RSCP/ISCP ratio such as a modulation parameter or a combined coding of all time slots.

摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To minimize interference introduced by an uplink common control channel.SOLUTION: There is provided a method and system employing a wireless code-division multiple access technology in which adaptive modulation and coding is utilized in order to achieve improved radio resource utilization and provide increased data rates for user services, where a base station measures uplink interference on all time slots received from mobile terminals UEs and determines the need for uplink control channels. The base station transmits, to the UE, allocation of specific uplink control channels indicating the uplink interference in the time slots and potentially a quality margin. The UE determines an appropriate uplink power level on the basis of a path loss determination made by the UE, the uplink interference and optionally the quality margin. The UE then initiates uplink common control transmission responsive to these determinations.

摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To support incremental redundancy and allow adaptation of modulation and coding sets in order to provide maximum data rates with minimal H-ARQ transmission failures.SOLUTION: Transport block sets are transmitted with a first specified modulation and coding scheme. Each transport block set is received and a determination is made as to whether the transport block sets meet a specified quality. When the specified quality is not met, a repeat request is transmitted. The specified modulation and coding scheme is changed to a second specified modulation and coding scheme that may support a reduced number of TBSs within a transmission time interval. In response to the repeat request, at least one of the transport block sets is retransmitted. The retransmitted transport block set is received. The retransmitted transport block set may be combined with a corresponding previously received transport block set.

摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To minimize the interference introduced by the uplink common control channel.SOLUTION: In a method and system using a wireless digital code-division multiple access technology, adaptive modulation and coding is utilized in order to achieve improved radio resource utilization and provide increased data rates for user services in which the base station measures up link interference on all time slots received from user equipment UE and determines the need for uplink control channel. The base station transmits to the UE the allocation of specific uplink control channels indicating uplink interference in the time slot and potentially the quality margin. The UE determines appropriate uplink power level based on a path loss determination made by the UE, uplink interference, and the quality margin arbitrarily selected. The UE then initiates uplink communication responsive to these determinations.
